Tourism Policies in Rio de Janeiro After State Fusion: Programs Towards the Countryside of the State

This article aims to contribute to the debates on the process of formation of public policies geared towards the tourism sector in the state of Rio de Janeiro, both produced at the federal level and in the state, prioritizing those that encouraged the tourism sector activities in the countryside. The article also focuses on the spatial dimension to rescue the regionalization instruments contained in the programs and actions linked to the policies, sought to understand how the policy choices affect the territory.
