Analysis of rural territorial approach in the Territory Portal da Amazônia: example of Terra Nova do Norte, Mato Grosso

The article discusses the Territories of Citizenship, highlighting the Territory Portal Amazonia, seeking to establish the relationship of the territorial approach with the approach to rural development. They settled as objective the analysis of rural territorial approach; the characterization of the Portal Territory of the Amazon; understanding the Terranova project and contextualization of the municipality of Northern Newfoundland in Macau Amazon Portal. The methodology included a literature review of authors who address the issue.Then, the interview semiestrutura with the community studied. In the final stage, the theoretical and empirical data were systematized. This research, from the singular movement and universal in capitalist society to suggest that the reinterpretation of rural areas by creating Citizenship Territories is a means to decentralizations actions of the Federal Government and minimize the issue of social exclusion yeomen.
