THE STATE AND THE SISAL IDENTITY TERRITORY: CONFLICTS OF TERRITORIAL.

In the Brazilian agrarian space it is possible to observe a constant process of transformations that strengthens the market agriculture to the detriment of peasant agriculture. The state acts as a unit of the political command in the elaboration of public policies, preserving its political expression of capital. Considering the State as one of the pillars of society, this article analyzes the public policy of the Program of Sustainable Development of Rural Territories, and that in Bahia was institutionalized as Territories of Identity. The Sisal Identity Territory was chosen as an empirical study because it is considered a benchmark of Bahia success, the methodology is structured through bibliographical readings and fieldwork. The objective of this study is to analyze the reality of the Territory of Identity of Sisal, based on the territory and State categories.
