Innovation environment deployed in already developed and developing countries to boost regional and national economies, the Scientific and Technological Parks, through the relation Government-University-Industry can play the role of catalyst of scientific development and technological local and territorial, making localities more competitive, creating quality jobs and social welfare. The objective of this paper is to analyze the relevance of PCTs for local and regional development and to present the experience of the Paraiba Technology Park. The methodology used was the bibliographical research, documentary and field. The results show that the institution has become an important part in fostering science and technology in the state and for creating innovative businesses. Supported the synergies of the relationship between the Government , the University and Company , has become a viable alternative for promoting scientific and technological development local and territorial , point is, therefore , natural and outstanding contributions in their surroundings.
