The objective this article to identify which actions were implemented by means of the shared management policy in the Northeastern and Northern COREDEs in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, between 2015 and 2021. The methodology used conciliated a bibliographic and documental research, based on the collection information from the database the Secretariat of Planning, Governance and Management and from the Socioeconomic Atlas of Rio Grande do Sul between 2015 and 2021 about the Northeastern and Northern COREDEs. Based on information, it was found reduction in the public participation in the choice regional priorities; moreover, the most voted demands are related to the areas of health, agriculture, public security and education. The findings of this research show that the supported projects have an emergency character and do not have a planned action aimed at promoting the regional development.
