The regionalisation of sectoral policies: the case of the SAFRA Plan between 2013 and 2016

This paper aims to reflect on the use of the region in the implementation and objectives of the “Plano Safra”. Therefore, it is considered actions of the Brazilian Federal Government, this public policy between the years 2013-2016 and as a regional issue was perceived by it. It is noticed that, even with the use of public resources, the need and the States vision to be the main financial sponsor of Brazilian agribusiness, regional development concentrated on some territories, lacking in most regions diagnosed in its methodology, any instrument that attempts to infrastructure, living conditions and access to basic.
